Overview

The 2018–19 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup was the 40th World Cup season in ski jumping for men, the 22nd official World Cup season in ski flying, and the 8th World Cup season for ladies.The season began on 17 November 2018 in Wisła for men and in Lillehammer for ladies; the season concluded on 24 March 2019 in Planica for men and in Chaykovsky for ladies.

News and information about the sport of ski jumping in the USA, and about American jumpers in national and international competition. The 2019-2020 US Nationals were held Saturday, also on the HS100. Nina Lussi & Kevin Bickner won the ski jumping titles, while Annika Malacinski and Taylor Fletcher took home the NC championships.

Another weekend of international competition is in the books for USA Nordic’s ski jumping team. Four of the men’s ski jumpers competed in the Summer Grand Prix in Zakopane, Poland. The rest of the ski jumping team competed in Frenstat, Czech Republic- for the men it was a Continental Cup and for the women it was a Summer Grand Prix.

Free bus transport from Kranjska Gora and surrounding area to Planica will be available to all the visitors. We advise you not to go to Planica by car. Buses have priority in arriving to and departing from Planica! Parking outside the designated parking areas, especially by the roads and in grasslands, will be consistently sanctioned by the police and the traffic wardens.
